On July 13, 2023, Baoding Hongcheng Converter Manufacturing Co., Ltd. won the bid in the bidding for body rectifying power supply equipment of coating production line of Chongqing Chang'an Yubei Plant Replacement and Green Intelligence Upgrade Construction Project by virtue of complete design, manufacturing, installation, commissioning, after-sales system and good enterprise reputation.

Yubei Factory of Changan Automobile Co., Ltd. is the birthplace of Changan's independent car and the first independent car production base of Changan Automobile Co., Ltd.

The plant was established in October 2004, covering an area of about 750 mu and a building area of about 255 mu.

The total investment of the plant is 2.8 billion yuan, and the annual design capacity is 280000 double-shift vehicles, making outstanding contributions to the sales of Chinese-branded vehicles.

The plant has two bases (Yubei Base and Yuzui Base), six functional departments and four process workshops, with more than 8000 employees in total.

The plant has been committed to the construction of an environmentally-friendly enterprise, vigorously promoting technological innovation, actively carrying out energy conservation, emission reduction and consumption reduction in the production process, and ecological design research on product fuel economy, health and safety, etc.

The Plant constantly carries out research on core technologies of green products, develops energy conservation technologies, and improves health and environmental protection to a strategic height. In terms of in-vehicle air quality control and restricted substance control, it forms technical advantages suitable for Changan Automobile and prior to domestic counterparts through standard system establishment, test capability construction, upstream and downstream consistency control and other measures.

At the same time, in the field of green manufacturing, major breakthroughs have been made in core technologies and applications such as full robot+large proportion circulating air coating process and VOC waste gas cleaning and purification in painting room. A demonstrative green coating production line for automobile body in Chongqing has been built to realize significant energy conservation in automobile body coating workshop and achieve high level of exhaust emission in the industry.

The green manufacturing of the plant has a high starting point. The product ecological concept has been throughout all links of the plant from the beginning of the plant construction.
