At 9:18 a.m. on December 19, 2017, the grand ceremony for mobilization of SV51 coating workshop equipment project of SAIC MAXUS Automotive Co., Ltd. Nanjing Branch was held in Nanjing. Chen Xiaoxu, Deputy General Manager of SAIC MAXUS Nanjing Branch, Wang Ying, Director of ME, Zhao Jingbao, Senior Manager of Painting Shop, representatives of the Owner, M+E Team of Painting Engineering Institute of China Automotive, B+U Project Team of China Construction Engineering Second Academy and representatives of subcontractors, totaling over 60 people attended the launching ceremony. Yan Zheng, Deputy President of Painting Engineering Institute of the Company was invited to attend the ceremony.

At the ceremony, Deputy President Yan Zheng made a speech as the representative of the General Contractor to thank SAIC Group for its help and support to the company over the years, and said that the project team of SAIC Group will carry out professional management and control of the project with a serious and responsible attitude, go all out to accomplish the project objectives, and make new contributions to the new leap of SAIC Group! Then, Wang Ying, Director of ME of SAIC MAXUS, made a speech and asked the project team to do a good job in quality management and make the project a painting workshop model for MPV, SUV and light truck flexible production. General Manager Chen Xiaoxu announced the mobilization and commencement of the process equipment in the painting workshop. The ceremony was completed with lively applause.

The overall planning and design of SAIC MAXUS Nanjing SV51 Project were carried out by CNOOC, and the general contracting of painting workshop B+U, painting process equipment and general assembly process equipment was also carried out. The painting workshop is implemented in two phases. The design program of Phase I is 180000 units/year (pre-treatment electrophoresis 60JPH, finishing coat 30JPH). The production line adheres to the factory building policy of "lean, flexible, data and high quality", and adopts a large number of new technologies and equipment, including circulating air technology, heat recovery technology, runner exhaust gas treatment system, rail-mounted internal spraying robot, bottom PVC robot, automatic painting technology of vehicle body inner cavity, energy metering equipment, etc. Meanwhile, it can meet the co-production of MPV, SUV and light truck flexible. It is a highly flexible and intelligent painting production line. The installation of the project is expected to be completed in the middle of April 2018, and the finished vehicle will be off the production line at the end of June 2018.

With the mobilization of the first batch of process equipment, the installation work of the Project will be carried out. The Project Management Department of Nanjing Automotive Coatings Co., Ltd. will carefully implement the company's project management system, elaborately plan, demonstrate the professional management level of the company and the strength and value of the engineering system service provider, and provide customers with intimate engineering and technical services. In Nanjing, the beautiful land will create a new glory, and submit a satisfactory answer to SAIC Group and SAIC Group, so as to further consolidate the strategic cooperation relationship with SAIC Group.
